Knitting has been happening at my house again!

March 16, 2015 Sally Klem

This is the lovely cowl kit made with Cascade Baby Alpaca that Melissa was selling at Winter Wooly Weekend.  I added the 20 stitches in width that Melissa had recommended.  I also added 3-4 repeats of the pattern stitch in the middle color.  I am a tall person and appreciated the extra length.  Actually, I just kept knitting in pattern till I figured I'd only have enough yarn left for the few rows of ribbing above the middle pattern.  I've been wearing the cowl today and find it very comfortable.  It's warm and easy to work in. I can imagine that wearing the cowl on long trips would be good also.  Coats and even bulky sweaters are too uncomfortable and restrictive when driving.  I think this is just the ticket.  (Don't get a ticket though!).  Spring is coming.  Hooray!
